Hello dear pharmainfo friends,
To start up with, there are numerous episodes with doses of amusement, hard ways and agitations to hit the target of dead lines but at the end i could feel the warmth of sweat for successful journey with great companions.
Theres a lot of amusement in first three months since we had ample of time to post and interact with all the participants. But real struggle started from the month of June when my project work has started and it reminded me of Abraham Lincoln's "My struggle for blogging" (I was just kidding it was more of bliss and charm compared to struggle). But some how with some sleepless nights, and hard ships I am delighted to say that finally I did it!!! Because I could understand what I would have missed if I had given up. It was like I have gained so much from my pain. It really helped to know most of the current research works that helped directly or indirectly for successful completion of my project work too. Apart from that, various concepts like Building the basics and Ask a question really made the contest more diverging, interesting and amazing. Every participant is like a Guru since I learnt from each participant. So my heartfelt thanks and wishes to all Gurus.
I would like to thank my team leader Dr. P.K. Lakshmi for her consistent encouragement and I still remember the days where our leader almost sat for the whole day with discussions and chatting online regarding the blogs and book pages.I was inspired by her dedication towards the work and she always says to work diligently to take up this challenge of Marathon. She was one of my best Gurus from whom I learnt to be punctual, dedicated towards work and am happy to express my gratitude and regards to her through this great platform. wishes to my team mates anand and shravani with whom I shared great thoughts. The best part of the contest was recording the audio. It was more of fun and i felt it like music auditions as I spared hours in making my speech more better and effective and came across new audio devices (since the audio was first done on a cell phone it was not so impressive with less voice clarity so focus was shifted on to software with which it was done well). I enjoyed the agitation generated while posting the blogs/book pages in time especially even counting the seconds and literally typing with a great pace.Concept of Plagiarism almost kept my fingers crossed for copying and made to handle each blog/book page carefully that really helped for journal and article writing.
I wish SKILLS-TEST 2011 is going to be more fascinating with diverging apprehensions, challenging leaders and learners.I would like to suggest up coming teams to be very punctual, never delay in posting the blog, never start writing and posting the blog at night ten thinking you would do it by 12 to reach the deadline.
Create a separate folder by team wise, topic wise or participant wise or any other alternate and comfortable way and try to save the information as a single blog may be a compilation of number of books, journals and articles which we would never have come across and definitely help us in some way or the other.Always try to remember the source of information and try to cite the right and authentic references. Information may be missed but never miss and forget the source of information.Since its not a hard task to retrieve th information as far as the references are in hands.
Since there is always a scope for betterment, try to use more technology like new software for making effective presentations, blogs and write ups.
Never give up the contest at any stage and never repent for giving up since I believe real happiness is sharing all the knowledge no matter how much we receive in return , confidence and working hard for something and lying in the sun looking at the clouds. I wish good luck for all the teams.
Criticism is always for betterment. So always better give a quick reply for a critic than for a praiser.Emmet Fox said "Criticism is an indirect form of self-boasting", so always try to delight the reasonable reader so called "critic" that can judge the standards and try to prove one's excellencies.
Cheers to all teams, outstanding participants and I thank great mover of this show , Pharmainfo.net for giving great opportunity to participate in SKILLS-TEST 2010
