- Development of purification schemes for recombinant proteins expressed from mammalian, insect and microbial cells using a variety of chromatographic techniques to support High Throughput Screening (HTS) and structure determination.

To devise and develop in vitro potency assays using the luminex technology, by testing combinations of antibodies and antigens for their ability to detect native conformations of candidate vaccines. To test candidate vaccines in these assays to determine their in vitro potency.

•Two or more years of experience in an intellectual property law environment, with a preference for trademark law environment.
•College degree preferred.
•Highly skilled Word, PowerPoint and other programs of the Microsoft Office suite for correspondence, data compilation, analysis, reporting and presentations.

Researches a wide variety of information requests independently. Communicates on sensitive issues exercising judgment and discretion.

Prepares and analyzes trends and status reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department. Prepares complex reports and presentations.

JD with demonstrated achievement from a top tier law school and member of at least one state bar;
5 – 7 years’ experience at a law firm and/or in-house corporate law department handling international corporate agreements. Experience at a pharma/biotech company or in healthcare-related practice at top tier firm preferred;

Recommend trial and settlement strategy
Direct outside counsel in day to day handling of litigation matters
Coordinate discovery process
Budget and manage outside counsel spend
Prepare witness strategy and liaise with in-house witnesses
Counsel business units on risk management and avoidance

Assist in the review and testing of domestic and international affiliate Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Internal Control documentation.
