Amla Chyawanprash
Among all the prepartions of (Embilica officinalis), Chywanprash preparations are the major sector in commercial Ayurvedic field. Amla is made from 38 selected ingredients, including herbs, spices and herbal extracts. It is traditionally a powerful immune-enhancer, and a rich source of Vitamin C and bioflavonoids. Its primary ingredient, the Amalaki fruit (Embilica officinalis), has traditionally been used as a rejuvenative and adaptogen.
Research has shown that the fruit’s anti-oxidant properties are due in part to its ability to enhance SOD (superoxide dismutase) levels. Studies have also shown Amalaki to increase lean body mass, accelerate tissue repair and regeneration, and to protect against chromosome damage from heavy metals and environmental pollutants. Amalaki is cited in the ancient Ayurvedic texts as a premier Rasayana (rejuvenative), said to preserve vitality and youthfulness.
Great for children and elderly peolple - helps boost immunity. Rasayana herbs are safe for longterm use. Moreover organically-grown herbs are also used.

Dear Faria Zarrin,
Chawanprash is a ayurvedic dosage form, but its active constituent that is discussed is Amla, that is a herbal drug. So its a blend of both the things.

Dear Vedika,
Interesting to read about a homely item.
So it converts a lean person to stout person!
What abt the dosing? I mean any specificatins for taking this product?
Are there any notice problems with over consumption of Chawanprash?
