NSAIDS-ADRs-Severe Cutaneous Adverse Reaction (SCAR)

The World Health Organisation, in its Pharmaceuticals News Letter, May, 2012, warned that Severe Cutaneous Adverse Reaction (SCAR), is possible with the use of Non steroidal Antiinflammatory drugs. The risk associated with NSAIDS is very low, but it is possible. The highest number of reactions were seen in the case of celecoxib, and that was only six cases per I million person-years.
