SARATHPRAKASH.D

Aravindsai's picture

1)HE didn't discuss about requirements of masters student to pursue Ph.D We said that previous research experience is helpful, which includes publications or your projects. May be you skipped that part while listening. 2.Is there any Work experience required to do Ph.D there. Not exactly professional work exp, you can use your M.Pharm project as research experience. 3.He is Saying that there is no scholarship for Ph.D students-then how can i complete my pH.d with out funding We did not say that there is no funding, we just said that criteria is hard. We have attached the links of funding agencies, did you look at it? 4.How can I select the universities We have attached the list of accredited pharmacy schools. 5.What is the duration of Ph.D course 3 years normally, in some cases they extend the duration. Hope i have addressed your queries, do not hesitate to ask if you have more.

Dear Aravind, On the whole, is it better to prefer Canada or the USA instead of Australia for a Ph.D then?

Regards, Niklesh Rao V

Aravindsai's picture

If you mean for funding? Yes, US has more universities and funding agencies than Australia. But quality of education is the same.

regards,
Aravindsai

Niklesh Rao V's picture

I didn't mean to say only regarding the funding but based on all the pros and cons. And is Singapore a viable option or is it the same as Australia? My major area of interest in research is validation technologies and protocol development.

Regards, Niklesh Rao V

Aravindsai's picture

If you didn't mean funding , its same every where

I'm completing my m. pharm in pharmaceutics and i want to carry out Phd studies in australia i therefore wanted to know about the funding that can be obtained during the study as well as the job prospects after completion of the course.
Aniruddha Tendolkar's picture

hello sir, As you said in your webinar there are a few universities that will offer funding for a PhD; i would like to know to what extent and which universities.
Aravindsai's picture

Almost all University have funding, but not for all PHD vacancies. It depends on the research area. If your supervisor gets funding he will provide you, if he doesn't get any such vacancies will not have any funding. I meant to say that it doesn't depend on University alone, but on the research vacancy.
